The Zero Emission House by Kalzip / by Alexander Yolevski

Such a symbol of carbon-neutral construction. Opened at COP15 in 2009, the Zero Emission House in Copenhagen is a perfect example of climate-friendly and above all carbon neutral building.

The exhibition pavilion presents a proposal that is planned as a (retrofitted) addition to an existing building with a flat roof. The building itself consists of large modules encased in a Kalzip aluminium shell. The roll-rounded Kalzip profiled sheets with a width of 50/333 have a radius of 950 mm. The roof and façade merge seamlessly. In order to reduce light reflection, Kalzip AluPlusPatina was used as a pre-weathered matt surface, which gives the material a timeless appearance.
