// PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The original composite.
Reimagined for today.

Alpolic is a precision-engineered metal composite material (MCM) — two coil-coated aluminum face sheets bonded to a fire-resistant core. The result: large-format panels with the dimensional stability of solid metal at a fraction of the weight.

Developed by Mitsubishi Chemical and introduced over five decades ago, Alpolic pioneered the modern aluminum composite panel category. Today it remains the architects' choice for projects where flatness, finish consistency, and certified fire performance are non-negotiable.

For Canadian projects, Alpolic/fr meets the most stringent fire-resistance requirements — passing CAN/ULC S134 full-scale wall assembly tests and qualifying for unrestricted use on tall buildings. The factory-applied PVDF (Kynar 500) finish carries a 20-year warranty against fade and chalk in Canadian weather extremes.

Beyond the standard solid-colour palette, Alpolic offers three architectural series that have defined the modern envelope: the Matte series for low-glare contemporary projects; the Timber series with photo-realistic wood-grain finishes (including Japanese Birch and Wild Plum); and the Pigmento Zinc series, replicating the depth and patina of weathered zinc at a fraction of the weight.

ETG delivers Alpolic across Canada with full pre-construction support — shop drawing review, panel-layout optimization, sub-frame coordination, and AAMA-2605 finish verification. From the Stanley A. Milner Library to Toronto Metropolitan University's Student Learning Centre, Alpolic is the system that lets Canadian architects achieve their most ambitious geometries.
