// CASE STUDY — TTC YORK STATION

Free-Form Aluminium Roof

The 407 TTC Subway Station by AECOM & Aedas required a free-form aluminium roof — geometry that defied conventional sub-frame construction. Radius Track Curved-Right framing was modelled directly from the Aedas Rhino file and manufactured to project geometry.

Kalzip XT Standing Seam panels installed onto the Radius Track sub-structure to deliver the architectural intent. The combined system won the 2017 CanBIM GC Award.
